Does Milk really help women with many of their common problems?

The various claims that milk has the ability to cure many of the common health issues of women intrigued Katherine Hobson of U.S. news. Claims include decreasing PMS, make hair shinier and make women an overall healthier person.
Katherine goes through the science behind these claims in attempt to separate the truth from the hype. It seems like Vitamin D found in milk does help with PMS. But she suggests that it is not as simple as the recent advertisements show. If women decide to take milk, they should take skimmed or low-fat milk, according to her.
Apparently, whole milk actually has a tendency to increase the likelihood of PMS.
But one must be careful because all dairy products do not contain Vitamin D and the yoghurts vary a lot.
